The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities.
Pieces must be played from memory excepted for contemporary works presented in the Amateur Concert Pianist, Advanced, Excellence and Concert Pianist levels.

Age Limit: 33 (exceptionally)
Lots drawn: 9th June 2021 at 4.30 pm (Absence will lead to elimination).
Qualifying auditions: 10th - 11th June 2021 at 4:30 pm
Final: 12th June 2021.
Awards ceremony: 12th June 2021 at 7.00 pm (candidates must attend in evening dress).
No later than 23th April 2021.

Limited number of places by category: registration may be closed before deadline in the event of oversubscription.
Programme may not be altered after registration deadline.
Accommodation with host family
(Except for less than 15 years old, Levels 1,2,3 and Amateur Concert Pianist): subject to availability.
Registration fees and deposit:
non refundable regardless of the circumstances.
Deposit of 70€ (except for levels 1,2,3): returned to competitors only after their auditions.
Notice to attend: reception at the latest one week before the competition with indication of date and time of presence for the competitor (No other receipt of application will be given).
Important: notice to attend will be sent by e-mail (address indicated on registration application).
Practice pianos and changing facilities will be made available to candidates (except for levels 1 and 2).
Practice on the competition piano (Bösendorfer) will only be made available for participants in the Concert Pianist category after the lots drawn.
The Competition shall not be liable in case of change of date or cancellation of a concert. Date of the prices not modifiable by the laureate.
Application to the competition implies acceptance of these rules and their annexes.
The English translation thereof is for guidance only and, in the event of conflict, the French language version shall prevail.
In the event of cancellation of the entire competition or a specific session by the organizers, the relevant registration fees will be refunded to the candidate.
