Competition rules

The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities.
Pieces must be played from memory excepted for contemporary works*.

The age limit is 32.
Draw for audition times  : 8th June 2022 at 4.30 pm (Absence will lead to elimination).
Qualifying auditions : 9st - 10th June 2022.
Final : 11th June 2022.
Awards ceremony : 11th June 2022 at 7.00 pm (candidates must attend in evening dress).

Qualifying auditions
maximum of 15 minutes

One Etude (excluding Debussy)

One movement of a sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven or Schubert (which can be played again for the final audition).

A work by a French composer
from the 19th century or later.*

11th June 2022

Final audition
maximum of 45 minutes 

Competitors to present an open programme comprising a maximum of four pieces* from different periods and aesthetics.

The Jury

Members of the jury are expert pianists with an outstanding musical reputation. They are chosen by Anne QUEFFELEC.
Their reputation, competence and integrity contribute to maintaining the excellence of this competition.

The public is allowed to enter and leave between performances.
Silence is required during each audition.
